Peach Cheesecake | Frozen Cheesecake

Thank God that things happening around is making my life more meaningful. The events that Japanese organize, places that I can visit during weekend and most important is the FOOD that I can eat here.

Bento Set | Kyoto Station, Japan

According to Camus, experience of eating a bento set in train while traveling from one place to another place is a must in Japan. In order to not make our trip a regretted one, we bought a bento set in Kyoto Station when we were headed to Arashiyama in Kyoto, Japan.

Dango is a Japanese dumpling made from mochiko, rice flour. There are many varieties of dango in Japan and normally three to four dango are often served on a skewer. The texture of the dango is very similar to chinese glutinous flour ball (tang yuan), especially the plain dango, not only the texture, the taste is almost close to tang yuan. On this post, I would like to share on the Cha Dango from Kyoto, Japan It is a green tea flavour dango where only sells in Kyoto area. I have never see this brand of dango in Tokyo.

Being a Malaysian, I am a bit(yes, a bit only) shy Embarassed to say that I have never been to Sarawak. I give myself an excuse that it is too far away from my lovely hometown, Penang island. The air ticket is quite expensive to travel from here to there. But, I think that I am lucky enough to know a friend from Sarawak, which willing to share with us the recipe of their local famous food, Kampua mee ("Gam Mua" noodle (干盘面)). Kampua mee is from Sibu and it is Fuzhou (福州) food.

My first impression about Kampua was it almost same as dry Wan Tan Mee (干云吞面), as the sauce is black in colour and it is dry mee. Well, look at the recipe and cooking method, let's compare the differences.
