Baked Blueberry Cheesecake

Cheesecakes are usually made with soft cheese (for instant cream cheese at room temperature), sugar, eggs, flour, and liquids. Normally, the base is crust, which may be pastry, digestive biscuit or any similar biscuit. Thin layer of sponge cake may suitable to be the cake base as well.

I found this Char Koay Kak (炒粿角) at Bringchang Pasar Malam (night market), Cameron Highland. It is a typical Char Koay Kak, which is frying together with bean sprouts (豆芽), chives (韭菜) and egg.

The cherry blossom (sakura) trees all over Japan come in to bloom for about seven to ten days. This is also a great time for people to hold outdoor parties to view the sakura. Is anyone like the Cha Dango that I shared on previous post? Now, I would like to introduced another type of dango. As I mentioned before, there are varities of dangos that can be found in Japan, one is the Cha Dango which is made with green tea. The second type of dango that I am going to share now is black and white version of dango. What is the black and white ball ball stick shown in the picture? Well, the white balls are the dangos which are plain dangos while the blacky is kuro goma (black sesame). It doesn's look tempting to me at all, but since there was a free tasting sample, why should I miss the chance ?
