Curry Chicken Recipe | With Instant Curry Chicken Paste

This is the first time I cooked curry chicken in my life, I cooked it with instant "A1 curry chicken paste". The first experience with successful and delicious curry chicken, I am very confident to cook for second time in future. With this instant curry chicken paste, you do not need to get headache with quantity of chilli, onion, garlic, and curry powder. With simple instruction shown behind the packing, what you need are 1kg of chicken (or beef or lamb), 200ml of water and 120ml of coconut milk. I cooked with 8 chicken wings and 3 potatos. Besides, I added 5 chopped shallots (small onion) for better taste. Firstly, pour in the instant curry paste and stir for few minutes, add in chicken wings, follow by potatos. Stir evenly for another few minutes, pour in water and let them boil. When the chickens are well cooked and potatos are soft, add in coconut milk. Stir evenly and you can have a pot of very delicious curry chicken in front of you.

Cha Dango 京の茶だんご | Japan

Dango is a Japanese dumpling made from mochiko, rice flour. There are many varieties of dango in Japan and normally three to four dango are often served on a skewer. The texture of the dango is very similar to chinese glutinous flour ball (tang yuan), especially the plain dango, not only the texture, the taste is almost close to tang yuan. On this post, I would like to share on the Cha Dango from Kyoto, Japan 京の茶だんご. It is a green tea flavour dango where only sells in Kyoto area. I have never see this brand of dango in Tokyo.

Yam Cake 芋头糕 (Or Kuih) Recipe

I miss my kitchen, I miss my oven, I miss my flour, miss my butter, my mixing bowl, and...and...and... every single little thing in my little kicthen...... I have no time to bake, no time to cook, no time for food hunting for the past few months. The only thing I can do is to surf and read on people's blog. Sometimes, blogging life is quite lonely if you are walking alone. Interaction with readers or other bloggers are the best way to keep us motivated.

Last Friday, we had lunch there for the third times. We arrived there earlier to avoid disappointment as that day sells Nasi Lemak. According to the boss, their nasi lemak start at 12pm and selling very fast. You can pre-order by phone or please arrive earlier.

You will see "Nasi Lemak" labeling plate put on all tables if that day sells nasi lemak, RM5 per plate. It came with 2 small prawns, half egg, balacan fried chicken, fried big ikan bilis and coconut rice. Balacan chicken is very delicious, while fried ikan bilis tasted sweet, it was very tasty too.

For fried "tang hun", it was really nice too. Fried onion was sprinkle on top and hence bring more fragrance to the "tang hun". The "tang hun" do not stick together, and we believed that's the skill of chef, as to fry a delicious "tang hun" is not an easy task! This plate costs RM5.50.

  • Sharon  - Service is totally bad

I know it is acceptable to be served a little bit late as there's so much customers. But we had already ask for menu, but the service staff is ignoring us. Not only this, they serve those who comes later, they take order from them but we come earlier not even get our menu. One of the service staff saw us walk away he didn't even ask but ask another new couple to sit at our table. So is it meaning that you have plenty of customers even lost one or two also never mind? what kind of service is this?

Hi Sharon, sad to hear that you met this kind of service. I understand your feeling as I also hate people treat me like this. But during the time we visited, they served us ok. Hopefully their service can improve and treat everyone the same. :cheer:
