Sukiyaki_2When I was working in Japan, I attended Japanese class in order to improve my Japanese language. I have a Japanese teacher who taught me the Japanese language for about a year when I stayed there. Before the training end, I was invited to her house for dinner. I feel glad to have the opportunity to visit her house.

On that day, she picked me up from train station, and we walked to her house. It was a spring season in Japan and the weather was good. We enjoyed the time we spent together. Smile Before arrive at her house, she brought me to hyper market to get ready the ingredients for the dinner. It is very convenient to get fresh ingredients anytime at hyper market in Japan. After get ready the ingredients, we went to her house.

Now, I will go directly into the dinner and that was what we had on that night, Sukiyaki! It is a Japanese dish in a hot pot style. It normally consists of thinly sliced beef, tofu, scallion (negi), Chinese cabbage, mushroom (shiitake), jelly noodle (konnyaku) and etc.

That was the first time I ate Sukiyaki in Japan. The dinner was great and very delicious. For sure I will remember the moment when I was in Japan with my sensei ("teacher" in Japanese). I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for the teaching throughout the year as well as invited me to her house for the dinner. I really appreciate! Smile
