Bihun Soup | Home Cook Meal in Japan

After worked for one whole week, finally the day that many people enjoy the most, Saturday has come. Yes, I like Saturday, because it is the day that I can do what I like. Eat, drink, play, happy (吃喝玩乐). Haha…

Nakau なか卯 | Japanese Style Fast Food | Japan

Are you looking for something cheap in Japan? Of course, the “something” here means FOOD. Well, I think most of the people know that dining in Japan is not cheap, but if you are good in dig hole (korek lubang), you can actually get a cheap meal too. One of the “hole” I found is to walk around “super market” (I used to call those convenient market/mini market/super market hampalang (all) as super market), most of the “super market” selling bento 弁当 (lunch box). When come to certain time, few hours before the food is expired, they will have discount on the bento. Grab one!

Yakiniku Buffet けゐとく苑 | Japan

This is the second time I went for Yakiniku in this restaurant. I missed the opportunity to take the photos of the food at the first time. This time I must grab the good opportunity to take as many photos as I can to share with our blog’s reader as I believed it is a worth recommended yakiniku restaurant in Japan.

Bento Set | Kyoto Station, Japan

According to Camus, experience of eating a bento set in train while traveling from one place to another place is a must in Japan. In order to not make our trip a regretted one, we bought a bento set in Kyoto Station when we were headed to Arashiyama in Kyoto, Japan.

GomaIceCreamHave you ever try a black ice cream? Vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, coffee, mango, orange and some other flavours including rainbow ice cream can be found anywhere and they are very common.

During our visit to Japan Yokohama China Town, we noticed a black colour ice cream. It is now winter season in Japan, but the cold weather does not stop us from trying this unfamiliar colour ice cream. It is a black sesame flavour ice cream which cost 260 yen. Kuro means black and Goma means sesame in Japanese.

The first taste of the ice cream is like tasting a sesame oil, just like you are eating sweet sesame oil. But after that, we really enjoy the sesame taste that melted in our mouth. The texture of the ice cream is very soft. It is very delicious and special.

The ice cream does not melt at all due to the cold weather here in Japan. It was such a wonderful experience that we can enjoy the ice cream during the winter time. We will definitely miss the kuro goma ice cream and the time we spent here.
