Durian_7June of year 2011 is the best time to indulge durians, the King of Fruits. Compare to past few years, this year durian's harvest is better and hence the price is predicted to drop week after week. (Hope my prediction is correct!)

Last weekend we had an outing visiting durian farm at Genting, Balik Pulau, Penang. It is the farm of my dad's friend. On our way to the farm, I saw many stores selling durians at roadside. The durian's aromatic scent awakened my groggy head.

After half an hour journey, full with excitement, we had arrived at the farm. I grabbed the opportunity to take photos of variety fruits tree to show my "city niece". At the age of 8 years old, her life is more bussier than mine with tuition class, art class, piano lesson, swimming lesson, english course, math course...and she has never been to durian farm hence has no sense about what is "kampung life", the life of nature.

I will continue to hunt for durians until the end of durian season, despite the fact that I gained some weight already since last month. Before I end my writing, I want to say "Durian, I Love You!".
